Hava Pinhas-Cohen in Modern Hebrew Literature Magazine- Editorial Note

The major topic in this issue has concerned world literature since the 1960s. Alongside nations and minorities coming into their own, there was the growing awakening of women, the largest “minority”. Women have always occupied an honourable place in Hebrew prose and poetry. It suffices to mention names such as Devorah Baron, Leah Goldberg.
